Accounting, Bookkeeping & Tax across Canada
Most penalties in Canada come from a date slipping, not from a hard problem. Our accounting and tax service is built around the calendar: monthly books that reconcile, payroll remitted on time, GST/HST filed each period, T4s by the end of February, T2 corporate returns within six months of year-end and T1 personal returns by April 30.
Whether you are a newly incorporated company, a self-employed professional, a growing team or an individual filing a first Canadian return, you get one point of contact, clean records and clear reports, all delivered remotely through secure document sharing.
Everywhere in Canada
Delivered remotely in all 10 provinces and 3 territories, with the province-specific rules handled for you.

The deadlines we keep in view for you.
These are the dates that drive the accounting and tax calendar. Yours depend on your year-end and reporting period.
Self-employed individuals have until June 15 to file, but any balance owing is still due April 30.
Corporate return due six months after year-end; the balance is generally due two or three months after year-end.
Slips to employees and the summary to CRA for the previous calendar year, with remittances through the year.
Your reporting period sets the filing and payment dates. We track yours and prepare the return before it is due.
Dates that fall on a weekend or public holiday move to the next business day.

Accounting, Bookkeeping & Tax: questions we hear most
Short answers. For anything specific to your situation, book a consultation and we will walk through it.
Are you a licensed public accounting firm?
Accounting and tax services are provided within the scope of applicable qualifications and professional requirements. SZ Business Solution does not represent itself as a licensed public accounting firm and does not offer audit, review or assurance services unless appropriately authorized. Where your bank or investors require an assurance engagement, we prepare the working papers for a licensed CPA.
My books are two years behind. Can you catch them up?
Yes. Catch-up bookkeeping and late filings are a large part of what we do. We rebuild the records from bank statements and receipts, file the outstanding returns and set up a monthly rhythm so it does not happen again.
Do you file in Quebec?
Yes. We prepare combined GST/QST returns, Revenu Québec source deductions, RL-1 slips and the CO-17 corporate return alongside the federal T2.
I am new to Canada. Do I need to file a tax return?
If you became a resident of Canada during the year, you file a T1 for that year, which also establishes your eligibility for benefits and credits. We prepare newcomer first-year returns, including foreign income and arrival-date details.
How do you share documents securely?
Through an encrypted client portal; nothing sensitive goes by plain email. You upload receipts and statements, we return reports and filings the same way.
